NASA/Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for design, development, test and evaluation of a Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV). Attached to the synopsis are the draft Statement of Work (SOW) and the draft Data Requirements Documents list for this contract. The efforts described in this SOW occur prior to NASA down-selection in 2011. These documents are available for review by potential bidders. Of particular interest to NASA are comments concerning the entrance and exit criteria for program milestones, and comments concerning the Work Breakdown Structure utilized in developing the SOW.
