I think this is the reason why support for space exploration is broad but shallow. This time around, we must inspire more than the few people with a tendancy to be space nuts.
In order to sustain a space industry PERMANTENTLY (let's not put *any* expiration date on it), we've got to let the average Joe go to space ASAP.
